Fondital – Makers of heating systems since 1970
Established in 1970 by Silvestro Niboli, its current President, Fondital designs and manufactures heating systems. Now a leading company on international markets, Fondital is known for the quality of its products and its policy of constant innovation.
The Group’s history is closely tied to the personal story of its founder, who 40 years ago left the small factory where he was employed in the manufacture of components for chandeliers and moved to Vestone, in the province of Brescia. There, Silvestro Niboli created Fondital, a company for the design and production of die-cast aluminium radiators under its own brand.
The market’s favourable response encouraged investment, and the company soon stood out as innovative and willing to implement advanced production processes. On the strength of its varied range of products and advanced technology, Fondital experienced a rapid growth, as testified by its precocious participation (1972) in the “Mostra Convegno” in Milan, the most important trade show in Europe for the ventilation, air-conditioning, refrigeration and heating sector. After only two years, Fondital had a staff of one hundred and was acknowledged as a leading company and a driving force for the whole heating sector. The company’s entrepreneurial merits and the quality of its products were rewarded by a number of prizes, such as the Ercole d’Oro, received in 1973.
Thanks to its dedication, Fondital has developed into a well-established business enterprise known the world over.
With its current staff of 750, its position of world leadership in heating systems, the new 45,000 square-metre establishment in Carpeneda added to the existing 187,000, Fondital is a dynamic, expanding company with proven capacities in taking up the challenges of the market and anticipating the changes in the global scenario.
